Despite of being a young company established in 2015, our team have worked together for over 10 years, and have more than 60 years experience in the field of Logistics and Distribution. The business is owner managed, giving us the ability to respond quickly to changes in the marketplace and customer’s requirements.
We believe that one size does not fit all. By developing close collaboration with our clients, we can put in place flexible tailored solutions to perfectly match customer’s needs, which we can evolve as the business develops.
Alan is the Founder and MD of VA Distribution. He has 30 years of experience in manufacturing, warehousing and logistics through a variety of senior management roles within large Pharmaceutical and Healthcare companies. As a result, Alan is best placed to focus on the hard stuff – mainly the strategic focus of the business for both VA Distribution and their clients. Alan is also a qualified ISO & GMP Auditor. He manages the work-life balance with a keen interest in cooking (particularly Indian!), golf and dog walking. It can’t be all work and no play!
Vikki is the make-it-happen backbone to the business from the logistical viewpoint. She has a particular flair and substantial experience in running pick pack despatch operations; her avid attention to detail is fundamental to the success of VA Distribution. On a personal level, you’ll find her enjoying long dog walks (rain or shine!), or in the stands being a die-hard supporter of Swindon Town FC (for which she has been a season ticket holder for too many years to mention!).
