To help combat tax evasion, a new Fulfilment House Due Diligence Scheme (FHDDS) has been introduced. From the 1st April 2019 there are new rules that apply to Fulfillment Houses storing Goods for Customers outside the EU.

If you are established outside the EU and you use a fulfilment provider they must comply with these new rules if they store any goods for you that:

  • were imported from a country outside the EU
  • are being offered for sale and have not been sold in the UK before

To be able to provide the service to you the fulfilment provider must have registered and been approved by the HMRC prior to 1st April 2019.
